Motivation
This all began with a saying I heard as a little girl,
"Life is journey, so enjoy the ride."
My life was far from joy as I faced many challenges,
but I always found my way through to the light with support and guidance that was self taught or came from the most unexpected ways.
Intention
Life is a journey of journeys within all facets of life.
Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual and Emotional
, which can mold your life in so many ways.
So I intend to reflect on those facets of life through sharing my journeys with the hope that it can guide others who have a similar journey like mine.
Mission
To share my life's journeys with the intention of shining a light for others who while reading, listening or watching my stories can relate and learn from my situations, challenges or life moments that would lead to a realization....

About Me
So who am I? Lets find out...
You can call me, Naz!
I was born, raised and educated in the Rainbow Nation of South Africa. Living in South Africa through the transition of Apartheid to Democracy was a once in a lifetime education that people rarely get to be part of, so I am honored.
I was born in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal and for most of my childhood I lived between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. When I was born my family was facing many challenges, specifically my mother. She is the core inspiration of me creating Journey Like Mine.
Growing up, I gradually learnt of those challenges and the fact that I was never meant to be, which made me the youngest and somewhat not wanted by my family. But, they were stuck with me.
With family challenges, came other challenges I had to face personally starting in my childhood and into my teenage years. But I was determined to overcome whatever came my way.
So I did, but of course there were distractions that happen, which sometimes leads you to paths you never ever imagined. Like finally bringing my journeys of life to reality with Journey Like Mine.
Currently, I live in Sun City, Arizona with my husband and 2 daughters. So you can imagine my journey of marriage and children comes with many interesting stories that will have you thinking, "What was she thinking?" Professionally, I am a Program Manager (yes, I will explain that too) that worked in multiple industries over the years.
I have an Evolutionary Growth Mindset (a term I coined myself) because I believe that growth is not just a trajectory but a evolution of peaks and valleys with stops and starts and everything in between.
So you are probably thinking... but she did not share as much about herself and You Are Right, because I plan to take you through my journey that will bring about all my learning moments, devastating moments, and "OMG" moment with my blogs & vlogs.
I am planning what I call "Podcasts with Purpose" with amazing people from all walks of life that in someway or another made an imprint in my life. Now, whether it is a positive or negative, you will have to tune in to find out.
My intention is to help others through my journeys by setting up reflection sessions that maybe you have a question about what I went through or how I approached situation or moment in time. Just to be a guiding light that I sometimes wished for when I was in need.
So I hope after reading a little about me that you will come along as I share my stories (they are real) living, loving and learning through my many journeys of my life.
